Q:How long it takes to have a casting done if I have the wax?

A:It takes only one day. For example: If we get your wax on Monday we will ship it out on Tuesday, so that you will have it on Wednesday morning.

Q:What do you mean by Same day Casting?

A:Same day Casting means that if necessary the actual casting process will be done on the day that the wax was received by us and we will ship it on the same day too. Example: If we get your wax on Monday morning we cast it on Monday and ship it on Monday, you will have the item on Tuesday morning in your hands.

Q:Is there an extra charge for the Same Day Casting process?

A:Yes, for the special fast settling investment, the separate burnout oven time and the overtime we charge only an extra $28.00 per piece.

Q:If I have a drawing or a picture, can you make me a ring from that?

A:Yes, we will draw the piece on the CAD program with accurate dimensions and send it to the machine to have the actual plastic piece made which will be used as the prototype for the casting process. Then we can cast it into the metal you desire.

Q:How much do you charge to have a ring made from a picture?

A:This depends upon the sophistication of the design. Some pieces can be designed in 1 hour, some might take 4-5 hours, depends on the detail level. It is best to call us or e-mail us a picture requesting a quote.

Q:What kind of payment terms do I get with Best-Cast?

A:BEST-CAST does not offer any kind of payment terms. We believe that fast, accurate, premium service should be compensated with fast payment. All the orders are shipped out with FedEx overnight COD.

Q:What the COD term means?

A:COD stands for Collect On Delivery, means that you will have to give a regular company check to the FedEx delivery person for the amount specified.

Q:Do I get charged for the COD fee?

A:NO. FedEx charges for the COD delivery an extra $ 7.50 , however we negotiated a special rate with FedEx so we will NOT pass these charges on you. Your shipping charge will be the same as you find on the FedEx site: from us to you.

Q:What does your guarantee covers?

A:Every piece made or cast by us is 100% guaranteed to satisfy your needs. If you are not satisfied by any reason we will fix, replace or recast the piece for you free of charge including the Shipping charges back and forth and a silicone mold if needed. If for any reason this is still not satisfying to you we will refund your money 100%.

Q:What happens if my customer cancels the order that you already finished?

A: This depends whether this a "design and build" work or a casting work. If casting, we will refund you the cost of the metal and the silicone mold but not the labor charges, since we had already worked with the piece and we have cost involved. If is a Cad Design and build work we will refund you the returned metal's price but you are required to pay the custom Cad design charges that you ordered. The shipping charges and the casting labor charge with the metal price difference from market value and casting charge will be covered by you.
