The ProJet machine is made by 3D Systems Inc. This is a multijet resin printing process with wax support structures that will melt away.
The resin built by the ProJet have a resolution of 656 x 656 x 800 DPI (xyz) or 0.038 mm X 0.038mm X 0.031mm and it is a blue color durable plastic polymer. Castable with a different long burnout schedule with about 95% success rate.
It has two different resulution settungs: HD ( High definition ) and UHD (Ultra High definition )

I just received the master of the USS Clark from Best Cast, and it is an incredible piece of work. There are no steps on the hull or deck, and the detail will speak for itself. The guns, masts, tripods, and detail parts are exquisite, and I feel this will become one of the best destroyers yet done in 1/1250 scale. I will send the model to Neptun tomorrow via Global Express mail, and I think you will agree that this is the kind of master that we have been hoping for!
I cannot speak for others, but based on what I have seen, I will now forward all our rapid prototype work to Best Cast. As for the USS Clark, I think an initial production run of 120-140 units is in order. Once again, I am very pleased with the quality of this master.
